Dental Implants

Platform Image 1

Dental implants are permanent replacement tooth roots. These small titanium posts are surgically placed in your jawbone, providing a stable base for crowns and bridges. Implants are the only method of tooth replacement that can prevent jawbone atrophy. Dr. Namay restores dental implants at his Toledo office.

Dental Crowns

Dr. Namay places dental crowns – tooth-shaped, porcelain caps – to strengthen and repair damaged teeth. A crown can also top a dental implant or hold a bridge. To provide you with a prompt, high-quality restoration, Dr. Namay uses advanced CEREC® technology to create and place custom crowns in a single visit.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges, also called partial dentures, are another way to replace one tooth or a few teeth in a row. These prosthetics can be held in place with crowns or implants. Dr. Namay crafts bridges from highly lifelike e.max® porcelain. This material allows light to reflect off the prosthetic tooth, much as it would shine on natural tooth enamel.

Dentures

If you are missing all or most of your upper or lower teeth, dentures may be the best solution. Working with a local lab, Dr. Namay offers full, partial, and overdentures (implant-supported dentures). Overdentures snap onto two to four implants, providing a full arch of synthetic teeth that do not slip out of place.

Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays are restorations that fit into teeth to restore shape, strength, and appearance. An inlay fits between the cusps of a tooth, while an onlay covers one or more of the cusps and can continue down the side of a tooth. Both restorations can be made in our office using CEREC technology.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

If you have extensive damage to your teeth and gums, you may be a good candidate for full mouth reconstruction. This procedure combines one or more restorative procedures to repair structural damage, treat decay, and restore optimal oral function and appearance.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

In the past, most fillings were made of silver amalgam, so they were obvious against white tooth enamel. Dr. Namay offers fillings that match the natural color of teeth. Dr. Namay can craft fillings with CEREC technology, the same used to design and mill crowns, inlays, and onlays.
